(Oops, Theater).

Thanks for reminding me of this -- I've never re-watched season 7, because it irritated me so much, but I know there were at least a few episodes I liked, and this was definitely one of them.AvenSarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11556589178527382426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730513615909994019.post-66642626747879828052009-07-06T16:25:49.780+01:002009-07-06T16:25:49.780+01:00Brilliant, I shall make sure I'm there!Brilliant, I shall make sure I'm there!Juliettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00203399623895589924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730513615909994019.post-88946808834694084672009-07-06T15:36:57.835+01:002009-07-06T15:36:57.835+01:00I hope you are still at the conference on Friday m...I hope you are still at the conference on Friday morning; I'll be mentioning Buffy in my talk called The Historical Detective!Caroline Lawrencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07249424644829463560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730513615909994019.post-73564585380788630632009-07-05T21:56:53.195+01:002009-07-05T21:56:53.195+01:00Ah yes, I watched *all* of last year's final -...Ah yes, I watched *all* of last year's final - better result last year though... This appeared on the Public Broadcasting System and was hosted by Alistair Cooke (a Brit) for many, many years in just such a setting. Basically, it was a vehicle for showing various British productions, initially literary things like Dickens, then went a little more popular with Upstairs, Downstairs and the Lord Peter Wimsey series of the mid-70s. By the 90s they were showing any British drama that was halfway decent, like that thing with Helen Mirren as a police detective. Anyway, that's my guess.

Hope you get to do a post or two while you're gone. Sounds like an interesting conference and it could give you some post material.DemetriosXnoreply@blogger.com
