I think these scenes have far too much influence from the later Judeo-Christian view of the afterlife. As with the original, it mixes ancient and Christian mythology (both Minos and Charon figure briefly in it, as well as, of course Satan).NomadUKnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730513615909994019.post-49603276288724519832015-11-07T16:22:45.482+00:002015-11-07T16:22:45.482+00:00Will definitely check it out - I remember it havin...Will definitely check it out - I remember it having very pretty posters at the time!Juliettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00203399623895589924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5730513615909994019.post-74688254857349626782015-11-07T16:07:17.420+00:002015-11-07T16:07:17.420+00:00It sounds like it'll keep you busy. Those are easily found on Project Gutenberg. There's also the extensive Heroes in Hell series, inspired by Bangs, edited by Janet Morris with some novels by CJ Cherryh.

On the film front there's that Robin Williams movie about the afterlife. What Dreams May Come? I think that's the title, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.DemetriosXnoreply@blogger.com
